Combining the energy of the Chevy Trucks U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix with Breckenridge’s Victorian holiday charm, Holipalooza kicks off winter with a non-stop line up of competition, celebration, shopping and great early-season conditions. Be a part of town magic at the Lighting of Breckenridge, then head to the slopes on Peak 8 for the mountain’s first major snowboard event of the season, the Chevy Trucks U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix. Join the excitement as the Hartford Ski Spectacular returns for another season of action-packed racing on Peak 9. THE LIGHTING OF BRECKENRIDGE 
The holiday spirit begins with a truly old-fashioned celebration complete with steaming cups of hot cocoa, voices lifting into the night skies with choruses of "Silent Night", and visits from Santa during the lighting of the Town Tree.

HARTFORD SKI SPECTACULAR 
Skiers with physical disabilities, instructors, and family members from around the nation gather for this annual event. The week includes learn-to-ski and race programs, youth development camps,sanctioned USSA races and a celebrity fun race. US SNOWBOARD GRAND PRIX 
Join world-class pros and local superstars as they push the limits of competition in this all-out snowboarding extravaganza. Competition includes Slopestyle, Superpipe and a Rail Jam on the Freeway Terrain Park at Peak 8 (venue location subject to change). Each evening the party continues at select venues around town. NEW YEAR’S EVE TORCH LIGHT PARADE (December 31)
Celebrate the New Year Breckenridge style! At 6:00 PM, skiers and boarders kick off the evening with a dazzling luminary, parading from the top of Peak 9 down American to The Village at Breckenridge. At 9:00 PM, watch a brilliant fireworks display from any downtown Breckenridge location! Don't miss this glittering New Year’s show.
