Help Your Child Have Fun
- Remember, this is your child's vacation too. While we encourage all kids to ski, our primary focus is an overall enjoyable experience, and no child will be forced to ski.
- Breckenridge is at 9600' elevation and children are very suceptible to altitude sickness, so take it easy the first few days of your trip and make sure your child drinks plenty of fluids.
- Please make sure that your child has eaten a hearty breakfast.
- Please be aware that most children will do better and have less seperation anxieties if they do not see mom and dad watching them. PLEASE watch your child from a distance and do not interrupt the class.
- Come early, check out promptly.
Available Services
- Kinderhut has mittens, hats, sunglasses, goggles, and helmets available for purchase. Children are required to have eye protection.
- Both photos and videos of your child are available for purchase. Photos of the morning class are taken on 3 days a week. Videos may be requested.
- For information about evening programs and New Years Eve Programs, please see a member of our front desk staff or call 1-800-541-8779.
- We encourage parents to ski with their child. Children enrolled for the full day may use Kinderhut's boots and skis at no charge while skiing with mom and dad. Children must be checked out prior to 2:30 p.m. in order to use our equipment.
- A copy of Kinderhut policies and procedures is available for review.
